Bulletin Board Idea
1. Place a map of the world on the bulletin board. Take yarn and divide the globe in to the two different hemispheres.
2. Divide the world between the Atlantic Ocean. Make weather cards and place in each square the seasons for that part of the world.
3. Learn about the weather from a particular part of the world place a pin with the name of the country, city or town on the map.
Enrichment
Have the students work with their own map and follow the directions for the bulletin board to learn about hemispheres, and the name and locations of the kids working with them on this project.
Math
1. Graph the information and post the information on the bulletin board.
